Delivery Options

At William May we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile for our customers, and we want to ensure your purchases get to you as quickly and safely as possible. We dispatch all of our parcels in discreet packaging, so if you’re ordering a gift or planning a proposal, your secret is safe with us! 

 

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 day, but there are some exceptions - please see below for more information on this. Your order will be sent out with either Royal Mail or DPD - you will be notified when your order is dispatched and provided with a tracking code. Please note that we do not dispatch orders on a weekend. 

 

Not only do we deliver to anywhere in the UK, William May also makes EU and international deliveries, meaning you can shop with us from just about anywhere in the world.

  • Free on orders over £75 or £4.00 on orders under £75
  • Delivery within 2-3 working days after dispatch
  • Free on orders over £150, £3.50 on orders between £75 and £150, £7.50 on orders under £75

  • Express delivery in the following places will take 3 working days: Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands

  • Please note there may be import charges added to your parcel upon arrival into your country, we advise contacting your local customs office for an accurate fee that you could be charged

  • We are only able to dispatch orders on weekdays, orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on the next working day. 
  • Orders are not processed on Bank Holidays so please allow extra time for delivery when placing your order around Bank Holidays.

Please be aware that any alterations will add approximately 5-10 working days to your estimated delivery date. If you would like to have one of our rings altered or if you require the ring sooner, please contact our customer service team on 0161 205 3575 or email us at enquiry@william-may.co.uk.

  • Orders containing multiple items may not be eligible for next working day delivery
  • In some cases, when an order contains multiple items it may take an extra day or two to get all the pieces ready to ship out to you in one parcel.

If you choose to place your order with our finance option your order may not be delivered within the individual time stated for each product. Due to the application process, there may be a 1-2 day delay before dispatch. Please contact us on 0161 205 3575 to confirm your estimated delivery date.

If you choose to purchase your order using our layaway service, please note that your order will only be dispatched once we have received your final payment against the order.

  • To protect both the security of our customers and ourselves, we do all we can to prevent fraudulent transactions. We conduct a series of checks on every transaction as standard, and if any issues arise we will contact the cardholder as quickly as we can. Please be aware that if an order is flagged as suspicious it will be placed on a temporary hold, and whilst we will do everything we can to meet the promised delivery date there may be a delay with your order.
  • To avoid these delays please ensure the billing address entered at checkout matches the card used, as any incorrect information will be queried.

Additional Delivery Information 

Due to the nature of the items we sell, all of our items are dispatched via tracked and signed for delivery. We are unable to make exceptions in regards to this delivery, meaning that parcels cannot be posted through letterboxes, left with neighbours, or left in any form of safe place. We are also unable to take requests for parcels to be left in post rooms or lobbies. 

 

It is important that the address you enter for delivery is secure to deliver to as we cannot be held liable for another individual at your address signing for your delivery, nor can we be held liable in instances where parcels are stolen from apartment post rooms. It is also important that you check to make sure the address you enter is accurate, as we cannot be liable for parcels misdelivered due to incorrect delivery information.
